SITE UPDATE - July 2010

Redesign?

Rather than an elaborate plan this site has ended up as mainly a podcast for now. I think I will try to redesign things and integrate a simple theme.

The "Long List", "Make a Promise" vote idea plus a rebuilt forum would probably be a good idea.

The economy remains intact and the crash won't be here in the next phase for at least a few months. The interests of the general public remains focused on amusements rather than essential services. I don't think people quite realize how addicted they are to the greed paradigm. It seems innocent from the outside, but it's pretty toxic overall.

We are going to need a paradigm shift, and we need it to happen at the speed of thought. We'll get there. I'll write more here sometime later...

SITE DISCLAIMER

The honesty.org and how.org domains are reserved for genuine non-profit purposes and are not for sale. In our commercialized world genuine morality is currently not in vogue, but that does not mean we can't think ahead. Some domains have to be free and available so that future generations will be able to engage in moral dialogue effectively. It may take decades or centuries, but some one has to preserve a space for the future.

A lot of people will immediately argue that most people are nominally moral, and that our government and institutions are adequate as is. The argument usually goes on to suggest that various "bad apples" are creating the problems before us. The simple fact of the matter is that the SIN OF AVARICE is rampant, tolerated and has not been adequately condemned. In most cases, it is admired and touted as "success". This is the root of global evil itself. Upon hearing that, reasonable people will agree, but then they argue that THEY are different, and they are "doing their part" in their own way or are already the victims and therefore guilt does not apply to them. The fact of the matter is that COLLECTIVELY humanity is in abject moral failure, and thus every single one of us is to blame for the mess we are in. There is not a single person on this earth who has anything to be proud of. Avarice (greed) is woefully out of control. Now there is work to be done so stop making exuses. Admit the problem, (at least to yourself) so that we can start figuring out how we are going to make corrections and avoid the side effects and consequences that will otherwise visit us sooner or later.

Much of the content that has been on this page over the years has been removed in favor of the ideas which are now featured in the Parity Talk section. It appears that moral study is probably the least popular subject on the internet so if you are reading this, I would be curious to hear how on earth you arrived here. Send an email, or use the simple comment form on the Parity Talk web page.
